Soprano E♭ 12 BLACK

The soprano 12 E♭ ocarina is rare ; this specific choice of an instrument apart from the usual C, F and G ocarinas is a very personal journey in the quest of a « perfect range » : neither too low nor too high. The holding, its format, its weight, are the benefits that make it my favorite to play alone — or with others if we manage to take advantage of the E♭ tuning. 
The low tones are hearable and right, the high G# is clear, delicate and vibrant with no acute-bend technique required. My choice falls on a flat blowing curve : I think it is ideal for playing fast pieces, for not having to push one’s blowing by getting up to high tones, and also perfectly suitable to play inside.
